Norman Lamps is proud to introduce the new generation LED High Bay fixtures. With years of field testing and improvements come the 50 and 40 Series. Since their conception every feature from the aluminum heat-sink to the LED diodes themselves, have been rigorously tested for proven high performance and long term reliability.

With the 50-Series power consumption totals only 140 watts, including the power supply. The 40-Series rated at 105 watt power consumption makes it one of the most efficient lighting options available today.

Light output equivalency ratings:
50 Series (140W) = 400W Metal Halide, 6 Lamp (350W) T5 Fluorescent
40 Series (105W) = 300W Metal Halide, 4 Lamp (225W) T5 Fluorescent

Excessive heat has been the Achilles’ heel for high powered LEDs since their creation. With the Norman Lamps exclusive heat-sink design, excessive heat is virtually eliminated. Strategically spaced fins and micro-fins ensure maximum lumen and color temperature maintenance throughout their 50,000 rated life.

The rough service housing protects the valued internal components and LEDs from objects and water allowing the IP-65 rating for use both indoors and outdoors.

Each LED is rated at 1 watt using the latest in efficiency methods and semiconductor materials. This translates into an ample 95 lumen per watt efficacy. Surrounding each LED are mirror finish reflectors which assist in the greater than 99% downward effective lumen output.

In addition the reflectors shape allow for an effective 130 degree beam spread. This particular beam spread permits mounting heights from 12′ to 38′.

50-Series and 40-Series fixtures are in stock for immediate shipping. Contact us for pricing and more details.

Now available; F.E.P. Coating from – F.E.P. is used exclusively on F54T5/HO (54 watt, T5) High Output fluorescent tubes and provides long lasting shatter containment for these high temperature lamps. The fundamental feature of F.E.P. is its superior thermal resistance. This feature is what gives F.E.P. its ability to maintain shatter containment, without degradation, throughout the entire life of the lamp. F.E.P. is extremely strong, puncture resistant and lightweight. It is applied to the fluorescent tube by Norman’s custom developed and semi-automated process which is capable of producing up to 2,000 coated F54T5/HO tubes per hour.

F.E.P. advantages

Warranted for Entire Life of The Lamp

Very High Clarity

Will Not Yellow, Cloud or Crack

High Tensile Strength

Puncture Resistant

Heat Resistant up to 400°F (204°C)

Norman’s exclusive process completely and securely encapsulates the entire glass tube including the end caps. In the event of breakage, the glass, phosphors, and mercury remain trapped within the F.E.P. protective envelope. The lamp can then be safely removed and disposed of properly with no harm to people or surroundings.
