Norman Lamps, Inc. begins offering its newest value added service named TUFF-COLOR™.
TUFF-COLOR™ is a proprietary product and process now available from Norman for color coating any fluorescent tube lamp available on the market today. Standard colors are Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Pink. Custom colors and color “tints” are available to meet any application requirements. TUFF-COLOR™ provides a low cost solution for colorizing fluorescent tube lamps while providing protective shatter containment at the same time.

Norman Lamps, Inc. begins design and field testing of 2’ X 2’, and 2’ X 4’ High Output LED ceiling light systems. Consuming only 40W and 80W respectively, Norman’s LED ceiling lights will effectively replace standard 2, 3, and 4 fluorescent tube fixtures commonly in use today. Life hours are rated at 80,000 and these LED systems are mercury free and require zero maintenance. Production and distribution is expected to begin in November 2009.
