The Norman Lamps PFA-TS60A is a 60W, 130V incandescent A19 traffic signal light bulb engineered for demanding service environments where both durability and shatter containment are required. It features an E26 medium screw base, a frosted glass envelope, and is rated for 8,000 life hours of dependable operation.

This incandescent bulb is coated with a high-temperature PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) Tuff-Coat shatter-resistant layer applied directly to the glass envelope. PFA is a fluoropolymer coating capable of continuous service at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F), making it well suited to the elevated surface temperatures that incandescent bulbs generate during operation. If the bulb is broken due to impact, thermal shock, or end-of-life failure, the PFA coating holds glass fragments together and prevents them from dispersing into the surrounding environment.

The traffic signal A19 classification indicates a reinforced rough-service construction designed to withstand vibration, mechanical shock, and the thermal cycling common in signal and industrial fixture applications. The 130V rating provides added lumen and life stability when operated on standard 120V circuits, as the reduced voltage stress results in longer filament life compared to a standard 120V-rated lamp.

The PFA-TS60A is well suited for use in traffic signal housings, industrial drop lights, food service and food processing areas, pharmaceutical production facilities, and other applications where glass contamination from a broken bulb poses safety or regulatory concerns. The bulb is fully dimmable and measures 4.10 inches in length with a 2.38-inch diameter, fitting standard A19 fixture openings. Sold individually.
