It features an E26 medium screw base, measures 4.10 inches in length and 2.38 inches in diameter, and is finished with frosted glass for diffused, even illumination.

This incandescent bulb is coated with a high-temperature PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) Teflon-based Tuff-Coat shatter-resistant treatment applied directly to the glass envelope. If the bulb breaks due to impact, thermal shock, or end-of-life failure, the coating holds glass fragments together and prevents them from dispersing into the surrounding environment. The coating is optically clear, so it does not noticeably reduce light transmission or alter light quality.

Rated for 8,000 life hours, this traffic signal incandescent lamp significantly outlasts standard A19 incandescent bulbs in the same wattage class, reducing replacement frequency in hard-to-reach or continuously operated fixtures.
