The Norman Lamps LED-FBO31/ST is a 13W CCT-selectable Hybrid (Type A+B) T8 LED U-Bend tube designed as a direct retrofit for FBO31 and FB31T8 fluorescent U-bend lamps. With 2,000 lumens of output, this LED T8 tube delivers high-quality illumination across the full length of the tube, accurately replicating the light distribution of the fluorescent lamps it replaces while consuming significantly less energy. Three color temperatures are field-selectable — 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, and 5000K daylight — allowing a single lamp to serve a wide range of commercial, office, retail, educational, and institutional applications.

As a Hybrid Type A+B LED T8 tube, the LED-FBO31/ST offers full installation flexibility. It operates in plug-and-play mode with compatible existing fluorescent electronic ballasts, or it can be wired directly to line voltage via ballast bypass using 120V–277V AC to the lamp sockets, a double-ended power configuration. Both shunted and non-shunted tombstone sockets are supported, making this tube a versatile retrofit solution that accommodates a broad range of existing fixture wiring configurations without requiring socket replacement in most cases.

The LED-FBO31/ST fits directly into standard 2x2 light troffers and other fixture types that use T8 U-bend tubes with 1-5/8 inch leg spacing. At 22.5 inches in overall length, it is dimensionally compatible with the FBO31 fluorescent lamp it replaces. The G13 medium bi-pin base ensures a drop-in fit into standard T8 U-bend sockets. The lamp carries both DLC and UL certifications, confirming it meets energy-efficiency requirements for rebate qualification and safety standards for commercial installation. With a rated lifespan exceeding 50,000 life hours, the LED-FBO31/ST substantially reduces lamp replacement frequency and associated maintenance compared to fluorescent U-bend sources.
