This Type B wiring method is the exclusive operating mode for this lamp — no ballast-compatible mode is offered.

Emitting at a peak wavelength of 405nm UVA, this LED T8 blacklight tube produces the signature blue-violet glow that causes fluorescent and UV-reactive materials to fluoresce brilliantly.
