This low-pressure mercury-arc germicidal lamp emits radiation peaking at 253.7nm (UV-C), which is highly effective to inactivate microorganisms such as algae, bacteria, viruses, yeast and mold. Compact and purpose-built, this 3W germicidal UVC tube operates at 10.5V on 0.300A current and produces 0.16W of UV output, making it a reliable replacement lamp for sterilizers, water treatment systems, HVAC coils, and small disinfection appliances.

Engineered in a T6 tubular shape with clear UV-transmitting soft glass, the GTL3 measures 2.15 inches in overall length and 0.63 inches in diameter, fitting standard E17 intermediate screw base sockets. Germicidal lamps allow 253.7nm UV-C radiation from the mercury discharge to pass through the glass thus penetrating and inactivating the DNA of most micro-organisms.
