These are the lower-output A-Type bulbs. They draw around 3 to 6 watts and put out somewhere between 350 and 450 lumens, which matches what you'd get from a traditional 40-watt incandescent. They work well in situations where you don't need a ton of light: bedside lamps, accent fixtures, night lights, range hoods, and ceiling fans where a brighter bulb would just be overwhelming. A lot of our customers grab these for appliances and small fixtures where an A19 would be too physically large or too bright for the space.
